Untitled Document Item Details For your consideration is this vintage 1974 Ibanez 2355-M hollow-body electric guitar in pristine 100% all original mint condition! This particular lawsuit era variety is without a doubt the cleanest example available, and remains in unbelievable near new cosmetic shape. In fact, there are literally no dings, no dents, no scratches, no fading… no nothing. It is important to emphasize just how spectacular the condition is, and that this guitar is basically in the same condition today as it was the day it left the Matsumoku factory in the fabulous '70s. In addition to being a perfect specimen, it is also the earliest known version I have seen after thorough online research, which makes it all-the-more interesting. Later examples in lesser condition have sold for over $2,000.00, so don't hesitate to act on this incredible No Reserve auction with FREE Worldwide shipping, as the highest bidder will win... regardless of price!Check out the flamed maple top and back, woah! This Ibanez ES-175 copy features: (2) "PAF" style humbucking pickups, a maple (M) natural finish, flamed maple laminated top and back, laminated maple sides, laminated 3-piece maple neck, 5-ply top binding on top, bound back, bound rosewood fingerboard, double-parallelogram fingerboard inlays, crown peghead inlay, open-book Gibson style headstock, adjustable rosewood bridge, "T" tailpiece and a non-original hard case. If you are a connoisseur of condition, then you will certainly appreciate this guitar! This no issues example is void of damage with; no cracks, no breaks, no repairs, no modification, etc. There is no oxidation on any of the chrome hardware, and zero weather checking. This guitar looks brand new! The original maple finish has not faded in the slightest. There is absolutely zero fret wear and there is no pick wear, in fact, I couldn’t even see a smudge! Everything is crisp, clean, pristine, mirror-like, luminous and impressive. Vintage guitars just aren’t preserved this way anymore. While it is no '59 ES-175, it looks and plays like the next best thing! The guitar works perfectly and of course it sounds great. While the neck is straight and level, it has an anomalous twist of the headstock. It appears that the mahogany skunk has curvature. Thankfully, the truss rod is in perfect working condition, because the action is great, and it i apparent that this odd curve is result of a manufacturing technique, as it has never been serviced, modified, nor repaired. This issue does NOT affect the playability, and the action is quite remarkable.
